On June 17, Liao Jiasheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CECEP, traveled to Yangjiang in Guangdong Province to hold a working discussion with Lu Yixian, Party Secretary of the Yangjiang Municipal Committee. The two parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation.

Liao Jiasheng expressed his gratitude for the long-term care and support that the Yangjiang Municipal Committee and municipal government have shown to CECEP resident enterprises. He emphasized that Yangjiang, with its advantageous location, abundant resources and excellent environment, is a key area for CECEP’s strategic layout. He added that the Group will thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and fully leverage its strengths along the energy conservation and environmental protection value chain. In areas such as new energy development, zero-carbon park construction and operation, carbon trading, and energy conservation and environmental protection planning and consulting, CECEP will further expand cooperation with Yangjiang, working together to promote the development of green energy and new energy storage industries, and contribute to Yangjiang’s aspirations to become a green energy city and achieve green, low-carbon development.
Lu Yixian, on behalf of the municipal committee and government, welcomed Liao Jiasheng and his delegation and introduced the economic and social development of Yangjiang. He pointed out that CECEP, as a central enterprise focused on energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection, aligns closely with Yangjiang’s development orientation. Cooperation between both parties has been close, and results have been remarkable. Yangjiang is striving to build itself into a green energy city and hopes CECEP will fully utilize its technological, talent and financial advantages to further increase its investment and presence in Yangjiang. The municipal committee and government will do everything possible to support CECEP’s investment and development in the city.
Those present at the meeting included Yang Chuntao, Member of the Yangjiang Municipal Committee and Director of the Organization Department; Feng Dong, Deputy Secretary-general of the Municipal Committee; relevant personnel from the Yangjiang Development and Reform Bureau; and leaders from CECEP Strategy Department, Cooperation Department and CECEP Wind-power.
On the same day, Liao Jiasheng also visited the South China regional branch of CECEP Wind-power to conduct research and issued specific requirements for follow up work. He stressed the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Party’s eight-point regulations, continuously promote the integration of Party and business efforts, strengthen operational management, vigorously advance offshore wind power development, ensure strict safety production standards, and actively cultivate professional talent to empower and enhance the high quality development of the Group.
