On July 11, CECEP held a conference on environmental protection and low-carbon development. The conference aimed to comprehensively implement Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization and the spirit of the National Conference on Ecological and Environmental Protection. It also conveyed the spirit of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission’s (SASAC) meeting on environmental protection and low-carbon development for the central state-owned enterprises.
From July 2 to 4, the Third National Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry Vocational Skills Competition for Maintenance Electricians and Equipment Inspectors, along with the CECEP Trade Union Cadre Training Program, was successfully held in Chongqing.
Recently, CECEP Techand Ecology Dubai Branch signed a contract with MAG of Life FZ-LLC in Dubai, UAE for the “Keturah Resort – at Plot No. Dhc2. L.01 at DHCC Phase 2 Dubai UAE for Mag of Life FZ - LLC Contract Agreement”, with a contract value of 2.822 billion UAE Dirhams (approximately 5.583 billion RMB at current exchange rates).
On June 12, the preliminary design review for the Chittagong Medical College Burn Unit Project in Bangladesh, undertaken by CECEP China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation for design and management, was completed. A memorandum of the design review meeting was signed. The Minister of Health of Bangladesh, Dr. Samanta Lal Sen, attended the meeting and highly praised the project team’s professional competence and dedication.
Recently, the Central Rural Work Leading Group issued a notification on the assessment of the effectiveness of targeted assistance by the units under central government for the year 2023. CECEP was awarded the top rating of “Excellent,” marking the fourth consecutive year the company has received this top rating.
On the afternoon of June 7 local time, the completion ceremony for the China-aided Moheli Island Road Project in Comoros, undertaken by China Geo-Engineering Corporation (“China Geo”), was held in Nioumachoua, Comoros.
On June 12th, Prime Minister Siaosi Sovaleni of the Kingdom of Tonga visited the China-aided project for the renovation of the peripheral area of the Tongan Royal Mausoleum, which involves design and management tasks performed by CECEP China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation.
From June 6th to 7th, Song Xin, Party Secretary and Chairman of CECEP, visited Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County in Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for targeted assistance research. He attended a symposium on targeted assistance work and the handover of dispatched officials.
