Recently, according to arrangements of the Party committee of CECEP, all subsidiaries of the group have made every effort to carefully implement the decisions made by the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the requirements of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). On the one hand, they are taking emergency response measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, and on the other hand, based on actual conditions, they are organizing enterprises to resume work, ensuring smooth operation of production and business activities.
CECEP subsidiaries in fields like medical waste disposal, solid waste treatment, water supply, clean energy and equipment manufacturing have taken immediate action to guarantee smooth resumption of production and operation. While actively fulfilling their responsibility in terms of epidemic prevention and control, those enterprises do their utmost to ensure safe treatment of medical waste, hazardous waste, solid waste and wastewater and secure full supply of safe water, heating and clean power. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, CECEP has launched an emergency response mechanism. By February 13, CECEP had treated 3,574 tons of medical waste, 380,000 tons of household garbage and 32.07 million tons of sewage, and supplied 25.59 million tons of clean water, providing strong service support for winning the battle against the epidemic.
