On March 31, 2020, as the on-spot commander blew the whistle, a gigantic crane roared and lifted building materials up at the construction site of the Nanling 100MW power booster station of CECEP Wind Power (Wufeng) Co., Ltd. This marked that the company, located in Hubei Province, the hardest-hit region in China during the COVID-19 epidemic, resumed full operation.

After the end of the 2020 Spring Festival holiday, CECEP Wind Power (Wufeng) insisted on simultaneously promoting epidemic control and production resumption. It established the Epidemic Prevention and Control Steering Group and Office to oversee the organization and deployment of all work related to epidemic control and operation resumption. The steering group is comprised of several teams respectively responsible for epidemic control, safety supervision, and logistics support, which work together to push forward the implementation of measures to fight the epidemic and resume production and operation.

In mid-March, the epidemic control situation continued improving. Hubei adopted a region-specific, multi-level approach to resuming work and production at enterprises in a phased, gradual manner. CECEP Wind Power (Wufeng) took immediate action to prepare for operation resumption, collect anti-epidemic supplies and contact local government departments to discuss issues related to work resumption.

At present, the wind turbines at the Beifengya Wind Farm of CECEP Wind Power (Wufeng) Co., Ltd. are already connected to the grid and operating well, while the installation of the rest wind turbines has begun. Construction of the roads, prefabricated substations, booster stations and power-collecting lines of the Niuzhuang and Nanling projects has been resumed. In addition, the company’s project development is also progressing steadily.
